Media Works announced as finalists in two industry awards
Media Works, the leading adult education and training service provider in South Africa, is proud to announce that the company has been shortlisted as finalists in two industry awards:
- The Best Innovative Training Programme category at the annual Achiever Awards. These awards are held as part of the ArcelorMittal Skills Development Summit. The Foundational Learning Competence (FLC) programme was submitted as part of the nomination process. The FLC is a part qualification consisting of two learning areas: Communications and Mathematical Literacy. These two subjects form a part qualification for many qualifications listed with the QCTO at NQF level 3 and 4. It describes the minimum competence needed in these two key areas that is required by people to function optimally in the world of work. Winners will be announced on the 5th of August at CSIR ICC in Pretoria.
- The Business, Education and Training category at 11th Annual Standard Bank Top Women Awards. These awards celebrate inspirational female leaders and their outstanding performance in the world of business and government. Winners will be announced on the 14th of August at Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg.
“We are honoured to have been selected as finalists in two prestigious awards. It makes me proud to know that our products and services are of such a high standard that they meet stringent nomination criteria. We look forward to the winner announcement events and wish our teams that are involved the best of luck” said Jackie Carroll, the CEO of Media Works.
